Railway Crossing Studies
Our team members have an extensive experience in conducting risk assessment and preparing Risk Management Plans for railway crossings.
Traffic Engineering Centre is capable to assist the NSW Government in meeting the objectives of the Road Safety Act, as well as to assist Roads and Maritime Services to meet its obligation under the Rail Safety Act.
We develop risk management plans using the methodology and activities in accordance to Roads and Maritime Services’ Railway Crossing Safety Series 2011.
Our goal is to increase awareness of safety issues at railway crossings and to promote cooperative relationship between the parties responsible for managing safety at railway crossings at both state and local government roads.
